A series of additions are to be made to the
existing July MCA paper on Active Travel Design Standards as
guidance was released by government on Friday 10 July 2020
regarding phase 2 of the Emergency Active Travel Fund and therefore
additional key decisions are required, they are as follows:
- Approve the submission of proposals to DfT under the Emergency
Active Travel Fund Phase 2 of c£7m by Friday 7th August
2020.
- Approve the acceptance of the Emergency Active Travel Fund Phase
2 grant from the DfT subject to its award and terms and
conditions
- Agree delegated authority to be given to the Head of Paid Service
in consultation with the s73 and Monitoring Officer to enter into
legal agreements with the four Local Authorities for their
respective schemes for Phase 2 schemes.
