The authority identified a need to procure
consultancy support to develop a Financial Investment Decision
Making Framework. This will consist of an investment toolkit, smart
investment targets, and a decision-making methodology.
Collectively, this activity will afford the MCA the ability to make
consistent, standardised and efficient decisions on how best to
affect financial investments.
A budget of £75,000 for this procurement was agreed. The
subsequent procurement was in alignment with CPRs and bidders were
invited to submit bids. Following evaluation and moderation a
decision was made to award the contract to Grant Thornton at a
contract fee of £60,338.
