Assessment of a Bus Franchising Scheme: Contract Award – Legal Services

 

 

Following the MCA Board decision of 4 March 2022 to undertake an Assessment of a Franchising
Scheme for South Yorkshire’s bus network, approval is now sought to
award a contract to Addleshaw Goddard to provide legal advice (of up to 1,000 hours) at a notional contract value of £197,250 with a total available budget of £500,000, and to partner and support SYMCA throughout the Franchising Assessment and thereafter, should the MCA/Mayor determine to proceed based on this tender being the most economically advantageous.
