The forward plan has been prepared in accordance with The Combined Authorities (Overview and Scrutiny Committees Access to Information and Audit Committees) Order 2017 ('the Order') and will be published at least 28 days before the key decision is to be made. The plan is reviewed monthly.
As well as being published on the Combined Authority's website and the Forward Plan will be available at South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority's offices.
Please note that the decision dates listed are indicative and may be subject to change.
Exempt information need not be included in the Forward Plan and confidential information cannot be included. There may be times when a decision has not been published in the forward plan 28 days in advance, this is usually because the matter is urgent, and a decision has had to be made quickly. These decisions can still be made but are subject to the regulations within 'the Order'.
What is a Key Decision?
The Order defines a key decision as a decision, which in the view of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, for a Combined Authority is likely:
(i) To result in the Combined Authority or the Mayor to incur expenditure or savings of £250,000, having regard to the Combined Authority’s budget for the service or function to which the decision relates; or
(ii) To be significant in terms of its effects on persons living or working in an area comprising two or more wards or electoral divisions in the area of the Combined Authority.
How do I find out more about the proposed decisions?
The documents and reports relating to the proposed decisions will be published on Sheffield City Region Combined Authority website 5 working days prior to the decision being made (subject to confidentiality or restrictions on disclosure) or hard copies can be obtained by contacting Christine Marriott at South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, 11 Broad Street West, Sheffield, S1 2BQ or email: email@example.com
