The ED Policy and Strategic Development has
identified resource requirement for the Sustainability team. An
open recruitment process to recruit an individual was undertaken
via a recruitment agency with shortlisting and interviews
undertaken by the Executive Director. Sandra Fryer was selected as

The project has now reached the Project
Delivery phase and investment authority is now required to appoint
Network Rail to undertake construction of the new station. The
appointment will be formalised with the signing of an
Implementation Agreement with Network Rail setting out the terms
and conditions of the appointment at a budget ceiling of
£6,859,649.
Subject to approval of this report and a timely transition to the
construction stage, with all necessary contracts signed and in
place, it is planned to make a start on site Spring 2024 with
forecast completion and entry into service Autumn/Winter
2024.

Appointment of Network Rail for Delivery Phase
of Magna Tram Train stop approved.
Lead officer: Pat Beijer
from LNCTS funding to refurbish the male and
female public toilets at Sheffield interchange.
Currently the toilets are in a poor state and are a source of
complaints from users. They do not currently present a welcoming
environment for users of the interchange and detract from the
overall impression of SYMCA.
The cost of the works is £53,510 and will come within the
budget available.
An open tender was run to select a contractor for the work, this
resulted in the winning contractor being Roy Wright
